CHELSEA STOOD THEIR GROUND!!

After a horrible start to the 23/24 season, Chelsea at last managed to surprise their fans with a remarkable Performance against the world’s best team Manchester city. Many were shocked by how brilliant Chelsea players were at the Etihad. Most People Put their money on city to pull an easy W Record, given that they were at Etihad in front of their own fans, in addition Manchester city are way too strong. However, Chelsea stood their ground.

To be fair Chelsea could have won the game, given how they created chances and the kind of chances they missed. Rahim Sterling had a few clear chances before opening the score. Sterling had 3 shots alone including the opening goal.

In the first half Chelsea disturbed Manchester city down the right side where Cole Palmer kept running through city’s defense. The Blues were not afraid to defend and attack when necessary. They really proved that they have that dangerous weapon and they’re not as bad as people thought even though they’re currently sitting on the tenth place.

The stats were a bit shocking but once again they showed that Chelsea were that dangerous. City had 31 shot 5 of them were on target insane right, Chelsea had 9 shots against city and 6 of them were on target. it’s not easy playing against city given their squad depth, their style of play whereby the opponent are forced to chase the ball the entire game, it takes a lot of focus to take the ball away from city players.

World class Performance by Chelseas’s center back Axel Disasi. The French International put his name on the map by displaying a strong performance against city. Axel Disasi won man of the match as Chelsea drew against City.

Alongside Axel Disasi was Malo Gusto the 20-year-old proved to be a bigger obstacle for Doku. He consistently shut down Doku whenever Doku tried to drive on the right side into the 18-yard box. Both Disasi and Gusto gave man city a hard time.

Chelsea’s next Game is on Sunday against Liverpool in the EFL cup final. it’s going to be a hot game, as both sides are strong even though Liverpool are considered the favorites to win in football you can never be a hundred percent sure.
